Summary/Abstract: The article presents the findings of a study on the use of gender-fair language in Polish parliamentary dis-course. Utilizing the ParlaMint corpus, speeches from the Sejm and Senate between 2015 and 2022 were ana-lyzed. The study examined language strategies of neutralization, feminization, and the trends associated withtheir use. The results provide insights into the frequency of selected nouns relating to professions, functions, and community affiliations, such as national identity, as well as the trends in their usage. The results indicatethat neutralization is the preferred strategy in the Polish parliamentary discourse, which seems to be influ-enced by the generic nature of the masculine nouns, perceived prestige of the profession/function, and thenoun form used in legal acts. The feminization of professions/functions does not seem to be a deciding fac-tor in choosing the grammatical gender of the noun. These findings can serve as a basis for further analysison gender-fair language and the application of feminization and neutralization, not only in a parliamentarycontext but also more broadly in institutional discourse.
