Perspectives on the Importance of Organizational Strategies for Teaching Foreign Languages for Specific Purposes

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents and analyzes from multiple perspectives the methods of organizing teaching activities which are used to optimize the educational process. The actual trends in the field of teaching foreign languages for specific purposes, most of all in the case of technical language, manifest on several levels concerning specific contents, the exposition and configuration technique, as well as the methods applied to adapt the academic purpose to the students’ individual needs and learning pace. Another essential aspect of teaching is the correlation of the practice of communicative skills with the form and context chosen by the teacher. Thus, especially in the student groups with different language knowledge levels, different activities can be organized by combining traditional teaching methods with modern ones in order to familiarize the students with real-life situations and with the approach and solving strategies of specific communication problems in an effective way.
