Summary/Abstract: This study examines the Instagram usage of the ruling and opposition parties (AK Party, MHP, CHP, and İYİ Party) in the districts of Büyükçekmece, Avcılar, and Beylikdüzü, Istanbul, during the period from July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The research analyzes each party's digital strategies, content shared, engagement rates, and interactions with followers, aiming to understand the role of social media in local politics. The data reveals the content production and sharing patterns of party accounts, as well as the effectiveness of their digital communication with voters. This study offers an in-depth perspective on the relationship between local politics and digital communication through the social media platform Instagram over a 6-month period. The findings highlight the strategic importance of digital media in local election processes.
