Summary/Abstract: The paper examines aspects of effective teaching in the academic environment, beginning with various studies and research that aim at the implications of the roles of teachers in regulating the learning processes of students, more precisely the styles and strategies they adopt, having a study carried out by Vermunt and Verloop (1999) as a foundation. Starting from the idea that each teacher must adopt his own teaching style that they consider the most effective, the specialized literature of several models of teaching, ”paradigms of organization”, whose applicability must take into account the context of the operational dimension of the educational process.
