Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to analyze and present aspects related to the life of the Pentecostal Roma communities in Dâmbovița County, with a focus on the social and moral impact of the Pentecostal movement on them. Although the social integration of the Roma communities in Romania has been insufficiently addressed by society, the Pentecostal faith has played a significant role in this respect, bringing profound changes in the life and mentality of the members of these communities. After 1990, many Roma adopted the Pentecostal faith, and today there are about 4000 Roma Pentecostal believers living in towns such as Toflea (Galați County), Râmnicelul (Buzău), Ivești (Galați), Adjud and Zimnicea. The change in attitudes among the Roma, caused by the adoption of the Pentecostal faith, has been considerable. Where previously there were legal problems and a lack of interest in the future, the faith has brought an awareness of the importance of purpose in life, leading to the abandonment of illegal activities and improved moral behavior. The Pentecostal Church has also contributed to the education of the Roma, many of whom have learned to read and write out of a desire to study the Bible. In addition, personal and community hygiene has been improved, leading to better organization and cleanliness.
