Summary/Abstract: During their histroy, electric vehicles quickly fell into oblivion after their commercialization because they were “removed” from the market by clessic vehicles with internal combustion. And the main reason fro that was the low capacity of the batteries and the poor infrastructure of chargers for them. It was the deelopment of batteries that, along with environmental awareness, reinvigorated the developmen of electric vehicle technology, with which classic vehicles would be replaced in the future. Todaywe have 3 types of electric vehicles, and the difference is in the proportion of electricity used for propulsion. By increasing the battery, we enable a greater range of the vehicle, but this increases the price and weight of the vehicle itself, as well as the time it takes to charge the same battery. Such a thing can cause problems in power systems. In order to avoid higher peak loads of powery systems, different strategies of controlled charging are devised. This would satisfy the need for vehicle charging and would not burden the power system. During the covid-19 pandemic, the automotive indrustry was affected as was the demand for cars, so total car sales fell compared to the same time last year, but sales of electric care were noticeably higher
