Summary/Abstract: Advances in digitization have profoundly changed the road transport landscape, bringing with it a series of innovations and transformations that have shaped the way vehicles function and interact with their environment. This impact can be seen through several key aspects, making digitalization a fundamental force in the transport sector. Vehicle connectivity has become a key feature of modern road vehicles. Smart systems allow vehicles to be interconnected and share infromation with the infrastructure. This increases road safety and enables better traffic management, while at the same time enabling monitoring of vehicle conditions in real time. Artificial intelligece has also found its place in traffic. The application of modern scientific and technical achievements in order to improve the quality of testing, that is the application of electronic, computer-oriented test systems, where the knowledge of artificial intelligence and expert systems are used, go in the direction of intensive development of modern automated systems. The introduction of A.I into the automotive industry has brought with it numerous opportunities and advantages. One of them is autonomous vehicle driving, where automation and A.I take over commands from the driver, but he remains present in case a quick reaction is needed
