SMANJENJE ONEČIŠĆENJA OKOLIŠA OD POLJOPRIVREDNE PROIZVODNJE
REDUCTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION FROM AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION

Summary/Abstract: In the structure of sown areas in the SBK area, grain dominates, followed by vegetable crops and fruit crops in third place. Sustainable rural development includes the ecology of water, air and land, and the status of biodiversity as key indicators of conservation, possible valuation and necessary protective measures. This work will consider the possibilities of establishing efficient sustainable development of the agricultural sector in the local communities of SBK (Central Bosnian Canton), which requires the establishment of structures that will direct farmers to sustainable production, and ensure the availability of modern technologies. Such a role in the transfer of knowledge and innovation is played by the agricultural advisory service. It is necessary to act and work to mitigate the harmful effects of agriculture on the climate and the environment, all while applying good agricultural practices.
