Summary/Abstract: In 2022, I was able to revisit the mountain village of Bitovo in North Macedonia, where I conducted my doctoral ethnological research focused on the social and economic aspects of everyday life between 2011 and 2014 (Machová 2016). The last time I left the field in the then former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) I was pregnant, only to return here after eight years with my daughter, son and husband to celebrate Orthodox Easter with the people of Bitovo. Moreover, 10 years have passed, emblematically, since I shot the short ethnographic film Ivonče (2012) in the village. What has changed in Bitovo and how do its inhabitants live today?
