Summary/Abstract: Transport companies engaged in passenger transportation must maintain the operational readiness of their vehicles daily, primarily due to safety concerns and the costs of repairs and maintenance, which directly impact business operations. Since vehicle maintenance issues directly affect safety and the regular execution of scheduled routes, it is necessary to systematically address problems when faults are detected in vehicles. The subject of this research is to present and understand the concept and importance of passenger transportation, operational-technical indicators of the vehicle fleet from the perspective of road transport vehicle maintenance, and the enhancement of vehicle maintenance, which directly affects business performance. The paper makes a concrete contribution to scientific research in the field of road transport, focusing on solving vehicle maintenance issues within transport companies and reducing operational costs. Objectives: Based on the analysis results, define the positive effects that will arise from improved organization of the Vehicle Maintenance Service and the application of advanced technologies. Conclusion: Identification of the benefits provided by the reorganization of the Vehicle Maintenance Service.
