Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of leadership is old as civilization. Today in management exists a myriad of definitions of leadership as well as people who have attempted to define it. Leadership is not easy to define, because it is impossible to have specific rules for specific behaviours of individuals. Leadership in organizations is seen as the launch of the revolutionary changes in the organization, with the ultimate objective of improving the performance of organizations, development of organizations and the creation of new values. The contribution is reflected in the presentation of the importance and influence of leaders through leadership style on the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational systems and their adaptation to situational factors in the environment. Through research in companies and institutions in the Tuzla Canton, it is analyzed the process of managing the leaders and their role incorporated in the theory of "path-goal". According to the theory of "path-goal", the task of leaders is to help his followers to achieve their goals and to provide guidance or support necessary to become followers of objectives compatible with the overall objectives of the organization. Aim of this paper is to provide at the cantonal level a significant contribution to a better understanding of the style of leadership, his commitment to employees, as well as the support of the employees in the organization and development of the theory and practice of projections focus on achievements
