MULTICULTURALISM IN THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA

Summary/Abstract: The existence of different ethnic and national communities is the actual situation in all Balkan countries, among which the Republic of Macedonia surely has the most heterogeneous ethnic structure. In this paper we seek to capture all possible influences on the process of education of the ethnic communities in the Republic of Macedonia that have an ethnic background. The current educational practice in Macedonia shows that all relevant factors in the past made and are still making today significant efforts to fully integrate all ethnic communities into the educational system of the Republic of Macedonia. However, all analyses in the country show that certain ethnic groups are dissatisfied with the education policy of the state related to the education of different communities.
