Summary/Abstract: The aim and the content of the paper focuses on a few didactic aspects in distance teaching. In that sense the subject of interest are the questions concerning the clear thematic distinction, the essence and the characteristics of distance teaching, as well as the advantages and disadvantages. The model for distance teaching is not new, but the different forms that it takes are in accordance to the technical and technological development. Herein, in an era with dominance and expansion of the information and communication technology, the paper focuses especially on online teaching as a form of distance learning.
