Summary/Abstract: Certain comments by Fra Petar Bogdan Bakšić about the Paulicians from Tarnovo in Bulgaria, where he had found Bosnian codices from the time of King Tvrtko, prompted Herta Kuna to the hypothesis that mediaeval Bosnian literature had at its dispolsal only a limited repertoire of genres. The matrix for the marginal glosses in those Bosnian manuscripts from Čiprovci probably did not differ much from that of the glosses to the Srećković and Vrutok gospels. The pattern for their generic and textual structure may be sought in the question-and-answer format. This is particularly evident in glosses interpreting the same gospel passage or parable.
