Profile of Bulgarian Tourists Traveling in Groups for Holidays to Greece

Summary/Abstract: The present study is oriented towards studying the profile of Bulgarian tourists traveling in groups for the purpose of vacation in the tourist destination of Greece. This article is based, among other things, on data from a survey conducted among actually organized groups in June 2024.It was found that Bulgarian tourists are mainly with higher education, with incomes around the middle, mainly from cities, who travel more than once a year outside Bulgaria. Tourist demand shows a steady trend of increase, with group trips organized by tour operators for a relatively short stay being preferred. Tourists are motivated by the quality of sea water, food, the wealth of cultural and historical wealth, complemented by the offered tourist attractions and good transport accessibility
