Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of the study of the vascular flora, especially the rare species, from the steppe habitat „Ponto-Sarmatian steppes - * 62C0” within the Ramsar wetland „Lakes of the Lower Prut”. The floristic conspectus includes over 400 species, of which 57 are rare, protected nationally and internationally: Adonis vernalis L., A. inaequale Janka, Allium guttatum Stev., A. dasyanthus Pall., Convolvulus cantabrica L., Ephedra distachya L., Eremogone rigida (M.Bieb.) Fenzl, Ornithogalum amphibolum Zahar., Potentilla astracanica Jacq., Scorzonera mollis M.Bieb. and other. Suggestions are made for site research and monitoring of endangered species populations.
