Comparison of the Systems of Selected Foreign Private Security Services and the Proposal of an Ideal Model of Commercial Security

Summary/Abstract: This text deals with the security environment, specifically the commercial security environment. The unresolved legislative aspect of the functioning of Czech security agencies provides a wide scope for their possible increase in professionalism. The Czech Republic is one of the last countries in the European Union that does not have this chapter closed. The security sector is a turbulently evolving environment where the personnel resources of private security agencies are potentially available to increase the internal security of the state. Comparison with functioning foreign models can provide inspiration for professionalisation and the development of specific legislation in the Czech commercial security sector.
