Summary/Abstract: In March-April 2023, a psychological study was conducted with students from various schools in the Republic of Bulgaria using Google Forms. Participation in this research was anonymous and voluntary and consisted of answering questions that were part of various instruments specially prepared for students. These were respectively: Revised Approaches to Studying Inventory (Duff, 1997); Course Perceptions Questionnaire (Entwistle & Ramsden, 1983); The Academic Motivation Scale (Utvær & Haugan, 2016); Adolescent Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire Short Version (TEIQue) (Petrides et al., 2006), adapted for the Bulgarian students by D. Petrova (Petrova, 2021). The collected data from the conducted research were processed with correlation analysis. Based on the results obtained, the statistically significant correlations between the studied phenomena (approaches to learning, course perceptions, academic motivation, trait emotional intelligence) that manifest themselves during adolescence and in a school context were established and analyzed.
