Summary/Abstract: The current study offers a profound analysis and systematization of classical and modern interpretations of learning and lifelong self-regulation. A serious attempt has been made for construction of a „draw-bridge“ between theoretical foundations and the practical opportunities for encouraging and successful management of Self-regulated learning in educational settings.
