Summary/Abstract: The consideration and study of the typological plane of the common traits of the Balkan languages in theoretically justified and in compliance with the conception itself of the linguistic connection, determined from its beginning as a non-genetic connection, but a connection of languages in geographical and historical contact. The system typological analysis of the balkanisms gives possibility not only to determine better their place and role in the respective languages, but also to study and place them on the Balkan comparative plane. This manner of study would help to build even a comparative grammar of the Balkan languages209, a task set forth by many Balkanologists. The works and the synthesis works published until now have opened the road for the fulfilment of this task.
