Determining the Time for Tillage of the Soil in the Space in a Plum Plant with a Disc Harrow

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of the measurement of the time for processing the row spacing in a plum orchard with a disc harrow equipped with toothed discs. The movement of the tractor with the machine shuttle, in two perpendicular directions - along the length of the row twice and perpendicularly once. With this processing scheme, three types of turns with duration T2201 = 0.54 min, T2202 = 0.24 min and T2203 = 0.68 min were established. The working moves are of length Lp1 = 176m and Lp2 = 65m and duration T101 = 1.07 min and T102 = 0.61 min. Coefficient of utilization of working moves are φ1 = 0.808 in one direction and φ2 = 0.609 in the other direction. The obtained results of the measurements were used to make recommendations for improving the organization of work and reducing time losses.
