Summary/Abstract: In the context of the need for energy independence, the strategic integration of offshore renewable energy into regional defense needs becomes essential for regional stability and security in the Black Sea area. The study emphasizes the importance of modernizing energy infrastructure, by increasing storage capacities and developing smart grids, all of which are essential for improving regional security and achieving sustainability goals. Also, protecting critical infrastructure, such as substations and submarine cables, against hybrid warfare threats is critical to maintaining operational continuity. Through strengthened international cooperation, investment in advanced technologies and close coordination between the military, government and private sectors, the Black Sea region can build a resilient and sustainable energy future.
