Summary/Abstract: The process of decentralization creates a significant impact in increasing societal resilience, especially in war-torn regions such as Ukraine. It outlines how it can disperse outdated networks of authority, reduce corruption and diminish abuse.The role of decentralization highlights the mitigation of foreign influences, such as the hybrid subversion tactics of the Russian Federation.Finally, it can be suggested that, although decentralization is not a universal solution, it offers a multilateral approach to socio-political transformation in Ukraine, by improving relations between the state and citizens, reducing corruption and fostering cohesion and cooperation between institutions and authorities.
