Laboratory of Hemostasis in Liver Pathology

Summary/Abstract: The idea for this review was provoked by our numerous observations showing the degree of adequate use of the information that the laboratory parameters related to the processes of blood coagulation in the body, in the case of pathological involvement of the patient's liver, bring to his doctor. In this work we are guided by our understanding that all knowledge must be refined and brought closer to practice. The review reflects, within twenty years, our practical and foreign theoretical experience characterizing laboratory aspects of hemostasis in liver pathology. The difference between quantitative and qualitative characteristics of these parameters is emphasized, as well as the presence of direct and indirect indices related to these processes.
