Summary/Abstract: The reception in the ranks of the Romanian Navy of a significant number of active and reserve officers from the Russian Navy, respectively the Austro-Hungarian Navy, with special naval training, with rich experience aboard combat ships of various types, from battleships and submarines, in monitors and smaller ships, and with the experience of sea and river battles, it was a positive thing and added value to the naval cadre corps, with results among the best and which contributed to the training of new generations of officers, military masters and troops from the Romanian navy, military and civil, raising its prestige in the interwar period and, especially, during the period of the naval actions in the Second World War.
