Summary/Abstract: Although it seemed that it was no longer found in a modern war, the Romanian military aerostation proved that it found resources to participate in the country's defense effort, receiving various uses in the Second World War. The longest participation was the observation aerostation structures, in the area of Dobrogea, in the period 1939 - 1944. The aerial observers did their duty, both for observing the expanses of the Black Sea to detect various Soviet ships, and for regulating the firing of the artillery Romanian and German coast, especially the „Tirpitz” Battery.
