Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of an empirical study conducted among shore employees in the port of Varna and Burgas. Through it, the main factors that play a major role in the formation of employee motivation are sought, the levels of satisfaction with the work process are established, and the reasons that have a negative impact on the psyche of employees are sought.
