Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the paradigmrelated to vegan sociology and its research area.The author introduces the roots of vegan sociology,discusses the topics raised in the empiricaland theoretical research and presents the InternationalAssociation of Vegan Sociologists, detailingthe activities undertaken in the collective andresearch conducted by the participating individuals.Next, the directions and hopes related tothe future of vegan sociology and the possibilitiesfor the actual development of this sub-disciplineare indicated.
