Summary/Abstract: The present dialogue is about the results of the State Program “The culture of promoting the image of the cities of the Republic of Moldova through art and mythopoetics, 20.80009.0807.19”, which took place in Chișinau, at the Moldova State University, between the years 2020-2023. The project had an interdisciplinary character, bringing together researchers who worked at different research and cultural institutes, people specialized in philology, the study of arts, history, librarianship, tourism, museology. The idea that led the researchers in this project was to carry out joint research on a topic necessary for society and our state, which would deal, on the one hand, with some societal problems and, on the other hand, prove the effectiveness of an authentic interdisciplinary dialogue. For four years we worked enthusiastically and achieved many beautiful results, both in the form of publications and organizing a series of large-scale cultural events. What the authors of the dialogue propose is to summarize the assumptions, objectives and most important results of the project, as well as to convince the government, the academic community and society of the importance of its continuation.
