Summary/Abstract: The basic hypothesis of this piece of research is that there are structural connections between religious knowledge and religiosity of secondary school youth. That was the reason why religious (Christian religious) knowledge was put in the position of a criterion property, that is, the variable in relation to which other variables were analyzed – dimensions of religiosity. On the basis of the mentioned criterion variable the sample (N=752) was divided into sub samples and the distinction between the sub samples was analyzed by variables examined, in order to reach more subtle characteristics of certain groups. There was designed a reliable and standardized test of Christian religious knowledge for this piece of research. It was established by the distance factor analysis that dimensions of religiosity, such as belief (ideological), religious praxis (ritual), religious spiritual experiences (experiential), behaviour in conformity with Christian love (consequential) and aspiration toward spiritual life (religious interest) are not, in fact, one-dimension constructs, but there are indicators of existence of relatively independent (sub)dimensions, that is, components. A structural connection between religious knowledge and individual (sub)dimensions of religiosity was established. It was established, too, that there are some significant differences between groups by levels of religious knowledge in relation to dimensions of religiosity and personality traits.
