Summary/Abstract: Paravalani occur at a time when Christianity spread, and subsequently determine their in the Roman Empire. Тhey were the group that was initially declared as nursing, caring for the sick and the dead, and is also considered a monastic order in the East. In the beginning of their work took care of the sick, regardless of where the disease was, why they gained the trust and respect among Christian people, and especially clergymen.
