Summary/Abstract: The content of the article is an autobiographical recollection of several decades of cooperation with an outstanding scientist – Professor Mieczysław Łobocki. The purpose of themosaic narrative is to enrich the knowledge about the academic fate of the student and the mas-ter, which evolved towards mutual cooperation. The text also contains copies of correspondencethat has not been the subject of publication and analysis so far.
