Summary/Abstract: Creativity is considered one of the most essential forms of human activity. As Andrzej Strzałecki points out, it can be considered as a work, a process, a set of intellectual abilities or personality traits, or as a set of social stimulators. An important task facing the school is to create conditions for the creative development of students and their creative activity. The article attempts to answer the question: how to inspire students to undertake literary creativity in early childhood education? The first part analyzes the issues concerning the concept of creativity based on literature. Also shown are the opportunities provided by the core curriculum for the development of students’ creative activity in grades I–III of elementary school, as well as the tasks facing the early childhood education teacher. The study concludes with suggestions for practical solutions and specific tasks aimed at inspiring literary creativity in students in the younger grades of elementary school.
