Summary/Abstract: This contribution is focused on the importance of intercultural sensitivity, foreknowledge and the awareness that a foreign language study does not mean only its perfect grammar acquisition but also the understanding the cultural elements of the second-language speakers and in this way subsequently understanding the attitudes, values and behaviour of the language / culture being studied.
