Summary/Abstract: The article is focused on the analysis of the possibility of personal initiative prediction based on a tool used for the measurement of transformational leadership (GTL). There were two issues extracted, based on the explorative factor analysis of the construction of personal initiative: (1) The use of the opportunity to reach personal goals (a negative impact on the factor of loyal pro-activity according to the explorative factor analysis), (2) the initiative to go beyond the call of duty (a positive impact on the factor of loyal pro-activity). The compiled model was tested, based on structural modelling. The model confirmed the hypothesis about the positive impact of transformational leadership style on personal initiative of employees, based on the sample of 324 subordinate employees working in the service sector. Other possibilities of implementation and the further research are discussed.
