Summary/Abstract: At the time of its establishment, the commandant of the Army 3 was General Mihail Aslan. His military career was affected by the loss of the Turtucaia Bridgehead. In the interwar period and after, the episode was widely debated, with accusations and acquittals in the public space. The Operations Log of the Army 3 offers possible explanations for that defeat which had disastrous consequences for the subsequent course of the military operations.
