Statepension Policy Towards Farmers’ Social Security

Summary/Abstract: This article describes the Polish social insurance system for farmers, taking into account its distinct nature. The article presents characteristics of the system in comparison to the general insurance system. The author underlines privileges given to farmers and their families over the rest of the society. The aspect of ensuring social security for the beneficiaries of the system is raised in the context of benefits which are much lower than in the general insurance system.
