The impact of the government program of employee capital plans in Poland on the sense of social security

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research conducted in this publication was an at-tempt to identify the reasons for numerous resignations from par-ticipation in employee capital plans among people living in the areaof Central Pomerania in Poland.The theoretical research method was used in the research process– an analysis of the research literature (using the content analy-sis technique), individual in-depth interviews, and statistical data.According to the research, the respondents have an unfavourableopinion on employee capital plans due to low trust in the govern-ment, legal stability, and a relatively low level of knowledge onsaving for their future retirement benefits.
