Summary/Abstract: Phonetic changes happen constantly, in regional pronunciation and in non-institutionalized spaces, because language means, among other things, sound matter in continuous movement. In this article, we present, in a systematic form, several aspects related to assimilation and dissimilation in the spoken Romanian dialect, offering a series of examples collected through direct investigation in the Romanian dialectal space.
