Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to identify the distribution channels used by fruit growers from the Małopolska and Pogórze region and to try to answer the question whether the economic and financial results depend on the number of fruit distribution channels used. The analysis covered 45 farms from the Małopolska and Pogórze regions that kept accounting for the needs of FADN in 2019. The research shows that most farms sold their products using several distribution channels, but there were also those that used one. In the studied group of fruit growers, the main form of selling fruit was sale to collection points. This was due to a large number of them in the analyzed Region. Other sales channels for fruit are sales through intermediaries, in the wholesale market, to a processing plant and at the local market. The greatest difficulties with selling fruit in the researched farms resulted from the lack of regular customers or signed cultivation contracts. The economic results of fruit farms in groups with a different number of distribution channels used were diversified. Farms with diversified forms of fruit sale achieved higher economic results. The research showed a statistically significant relationship between the volume and value of production and the number of distribution channels used.
