Summary/Abstract: Is it harder to stay at the top than to get there? In the medieval state tradition, will the efforts of a state that has seen the peak from every point of view give results, or will it result in a deterioration that has already lasted for half a century, a decline and then an inevitable collapse? Of course, it is easy to answer the above questions for people who have studied the Turkish history curriculum since the republic. But what happened on the unknown sides of known history? What did the bridge people aim at, how much did they achieve? What happened against the background of the success of the Köprüllüler Era, one of the rare issues that modern historians are allied on? As can be understood from the questions, the theme of the study is whether intelligence activities have had an impact on their management in the nearly half century following Köprülü Mehmed Pasha’s loyalty. At the beginning of the source group that forms the basis of the study are the official documents obtained from the Ottoman Archive and the Ottoman chronicles that hold the pulse of the era Jul. The domestic and foreign studies that have been published by taking advantage of them have also been benefited.
