Summary/Abstract: The text clarifies the chronology of icon creation from the iconostasis of St. John the Theologian Chapel in the Rila Monastery and proposes a new hypothesis for the attribution of the images from the apostolic (Deisis) order to Yoan Ikonopisetz (John the Iconographer) from Samokov.
