Summary/Abstract: In 2024 five large icons from the iconostasis of the church in the Virgin Monastery of Batoshevo were restored. Some of them have author’s signatures and the year 1870 and 1871, and the temple was built later in 1905 and consecrated in 1909. They were created for the Holy Trinity Church in Sevlievo in 1870/71 for an iconostasis set. This group includes six more icons, which are located in the Sevlievo church, and two which were handed over for storage to the Art Gallery in Gabrovo. The two icon painters who executed the large-format icons are Stanislav Dospevski and Tsanyu Zahariev (Mladi).
