Summary/Abstract: The article makes comments on four Polish translations of Testamentum porcelli: by Witold Truszkowski (1972), Magdalena Nowak (1996), Maciej Jońca (2011) and the team Andrzej Dzikowski, Aldona Jurewicz and Gabriela Molisak (2016). In the text, the author presents the advantages and disadvantages of these translations and attempts to indicate the translation strategies applied by each translator.
