Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the status of the Ukrainian language as a national minority language in Poland and the current approach to Ukrainian linguistic and literary-cultural education in Polish schools which includes knowledge of the language and selected texts of Ukrainian culture. The authors seek to answer key questions related to the core curriculum, the choice of issues to be studied that could help the student learn and appreciate their national heritage, as well as the scope and form of exams.
