SEASONAL FLUCTUATIONS OF ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL PHENOMENA IN THE REGION OF THE LUBUSKIE PROVINCE

Summary/Abstract: The article serves a descriptive and informative purpose. It attempts to characterise seasonal variations of selected economic and social phenomena in the Lubuskie Province. Using the Census I method, a seasonal decomposition was made of the time series of sold industrial production, the number of unemployed, the number of tourists using the accommodation facilities and the number of road accidents in the region. Statistical data was analysed for each month of the period 2007-2022. The results show that seasonal factors in the region have a significant impact on the aforementioned phenomena.
