Summary/Abstract: This paper assesses the changes in the area structure of farms in Poland during 2000–2009 in the context of the objectives and tasks in this regard. The basic unit of territorial comparative analysis of the changes adopted state. As a research tool used rudimentary tools of description and statistical inference and multidimensional comparative analysis and spatial statistics. The results show that the pace of change in the direction of modern agrarian structure is too low.
