Summary/Abstract: The aim of this work and described research is to gain an understanding of the role of teaching resources in the mathematics education of pre-school children. The main research problem is as follows: What is the role of didactic resources in the mathematics education of preschool children? The study used a diagnostic survey method as well as questionnaire and interview techniques. Own research was conducted in four kindergartens in Bełchatów
