Summary/Abstract: People all over the world complain for various reasons, holidaymakers about the weather, carriers and customers about rising fuel and product prices, and investors about unfavourable economic legislation. It is interesting that research on complaining has shown that it is not often linked to the achievement of the goal. It does not change the fact that we can encounter such situations in commerce, education and in everyday situations. In the introduction the article emphasises the seriousness of the meaning of the word itself in everyday life and indicates the purpose of the article, the first part it explains the concept of complaining, in the next part the possibilities of using it in social and professional life are presented. The conclusions set out perspectives for further work on complaining and point out its dangers.
