Summary/Abstract: The confrontation is a procedure for clarifying the inconsistencies that appeared in the statements of the persons heard in a criminal case, which could not be eliminated by the administration of other means of evidence, and at the same time a means of obtaining new data, of confirming some facts or circumstances already established, as well as verifying the statements of other interviewed persons, thus contributing to the establishment of the truth in question.
